Valentine's Day heart garland

After pulling down all the Christmas decorations, my poor front door looked naked as a jaybird.  My bookshelves and coffee tables also looked a bit depressed.  Gone where the candy canes, Frosty the Snowman figurines and cute winter themed decorations.

Then it hit me.  Valentine's Day is coming up!!!!  If I work my booty off, I still have enough time to craft some decorations and put them up a full month in advanced!  (side note:  One of my New Years resolution is to craft more.  Remember that Mama on a budget?  Well, she kind of left for a month or two.  But don't worry, she's back in full force and ready to craft more in order to save more!)

I found this You Tube tutorial on crocheting hearts.  Um, yes please!!!!!



It didn't take long.  I made 3 pink and 3 coral.  Turn your head, I can't figure out how to rotate this ish.

Not too shabby considering I just picked up crocheting again.

And then I was off looking for cute ways to use them as a decoration.... Enter garland!!!
